Team building

First we started off our trip with some fun team games !

.Parachute . This was the way we played mushroom. We all held onto a side , lifted it up and sat on the sides. This made it look like a MASSIVE rainbow bubble.

.Fruit dash: This game was personally one of our favourites , we all got given a fruit name eg. strawberry, apple and orange, then everybody would lift the parachute up and our teacher would call a fruit and if it was yours you would dash under the parachute and swap spaces with someone with that fruit.

(We also played outside in the fields climbing trees, hula hoops and playing football )

 

Low ropes 

Low ropes was SO fun and we got to spend at least 30 minutes playing .My favourites where the rope bridge and there was a flat wall and you had to try climb over and jump down . Sadly, it ended too soon. No one complained. I think everyone loved it. Although i think the most popular was a tightrope ,people were climbing on the left and right.

Abseiling

Abseiling was SO exciting but really scary at first because you had to lean back and we were not ready for the fright . Not everyone did it (which is understandable ) . Also some of the children got to go on a very high abseiling wall

(We had about an hour and a half on this activity)

Swimming

On our trip we went swimming and it was definitely lots of the kid’s favourites activities ,  it was great how many pool toys there were a few kids played marco polo and others just jumped into the pool .It was very sad that we only got 45 minutes but it was an incredible 45 minutes of non stop fun!🤩😀😁

Conclusion

We had such a good time on this trip us and our friends will definitely be going back there soon . When we got back home we went straight to our beds because we were SOOO tired 😴 . I think that this was a great experience and will help us in the future.❤

Raising Canes after finally getting the cash registers to work, Raising Cane’s opened on August 28th 1996. It was after 9 p.m. and Todd goes out on the street to wave Customers in business was so good, the Restaurant stayed open until 3:30 am .!a Louisiana-based fried chicken restraunt that first appeared on the scene way back in 1996, Raising Cane’s plays a slightly different tune than other chicken places. Raising Cane’s offers a very limited menu, focusing on just chicken fingers fries Texas toast coleslaw and of course,their famous secret sauce.

the band rehearses 2 times a week ones on a Saturday we march and on a Tuesday  we practice the music. when we go out we often march at the front of the parade. we also have concert  every  year a spring concert. the band loves to recruite so you can join the band.

History ( from 1947-1965)

Throughout the 1950s, the Angels (as they were nicknamed at the time, although it was not yet formally part of the club’s name) would struggle to make any progress in the Southern League and a peak of 11th place was reached in 1949–50, the club’s second season. However, Tonbridge would prove to be a strong side in cup competitions. In 1949–50, the club reached the semi-finals of the southern league semi finals losing 3–2 to Colchester. In three successive seasons, 1950–51, 1951–52 and 1952–53, Tonbridge reached the First Round Proper of the FA cup, only to lose each of the three after a replay. Angels’ opponents were Chelmsford, Aldershot and Nowrich city respectively. The Aldershot tie at the Angel Ground saw a record attendance of 8,236, while the Norwich City game was shrouded in controversy, with a late goal at Carrow Road settling the tie. The first trophy to be lifted came in 1951–52 with the Angels winning the Kent Senior Shield. Tonbridge would go on to win this trophy a further four times, in 1956, 1958, 1959 and 1964. Two Southern League Cup finals were reached and lost, beaten in 1954–55 by Yeovil Town and two seasons later by Hersford, and two Kent Senior finals were also lost in 1956–57 and 1958–59. The club were relegated from the Premier Division in 1961–62 but were promoted two seasons later finishing in 4th place after narrowly missing out the year before. However, the club were then relegated back to Division One in 1965–66. The notable success of the 1960s was the achievement of reaching the First Round Proper for a fourth time, this time being knocked out 1–0 by Dagenum. The club also won the Kent Senior Cup for the first time in 1964-65.

when to grow them –

the best time of the year to grow tomatoes would be from early February to late March

 

how to plant them –

first put the seed on top of the soil and make sure they are not to close to the pot so they don’t run out of room to grow .

 

how to take care of them –

when they are small saplings keep them inside and make sure there is sunlight, the best place is a window seal but make sure to keep the blinds open during the day .If it’s not raining, take then outside until its dark .When you bring them in, touch the soil and if its dry give them water until its the soil it damp
